Intellectual approach to GOD

“Brahma vijanati sa Brahma eva Bhavati”. (Sanskrit) He is God, who knew the God, confirms  Upanishada, the only authentic knowledge about God on the earth, not belonging to any particular sect or religion. Calling Khapti Maharaj a God incarnation is not a propaganda made by the disciples to attract more people in the fold of their revered Guru. Khapti Maharaj had experienced the existence of God and he knew the God. This is the reason his followers called him the incarnation of God. “Why anybody should believe that Khapti Baba knew the God ?” will be a question  asked by many gentlemen who are genuinely inquisitive and thirsty for the knowledge of God. One  has to understand for that sake what really “God” is. All the theist people over the world have their own individual ideas and concepts about God, based on the culture in family, friends and society.  It will be interesting to understand what Khapti Maharaj has preached about God.  He did tell the people the same thing  which all the great saints in the history of the world have told.  The difference is that he was straight forward  and wanted people to understand the God with the help of their brains, instead of following the indirect path of  false sentiments or physical exercise. He always insisted upon his followers to understand that human is different from all other living beings, for the main reason that human being can exercise the power of his brain to greatest extent, which is absent in others.

 

Khapti Maharaj himself inherited the tradition of great yogees like Khateshwar Maharaj and Maniram Baba, and hence he never claimed that he was telling something different which others did not know. His earnest appeal to all his followers was to use their brains to understand the very reason of the anxieties of the human beings. He wanted them to find out the way by knowing the root cause of the human agonies and unhappiness. He preached that the principle that keeps you alive, thinking and moving is none other than the principle that creates things and events around you. He insisted upon everyone to understand the principle which is called God or soul or self or power. This knowledge of eternal truth will relieve everybody from all kind of misunderstandings and doubts which cause the anxities and sorrows.

 

One shall have to learn his teachings with full concentration to understand them and bring them into one's practical life for unending happiness.
